FOX‘s new show, Empire has just released a trailer previewing the musical television drama. V.Bozeman makes an appearance among the montage, seen below at the 00.18 second mark. Empire stars Terrance Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Gabourey Sidibe, created and executively produced by Lee Daniels. Be sure to catch the premiere of Empire, January 7th, 2015.
V. Bozeman’s first single, ‘Race Jones’ makes a bold musical statement. The song written by Cee Lo, is “the spirit of what Black is,” says Bozeman. ‘Race Jones’ was released in spirit of the tragedy that was Michael Brown’s shooting and a Ferguson grand jury’s decision to not indict police officer Darren Wilson. ‘Race Jones’ was premiered by Essence Magazine.
Bozeman is signed to Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group who recently joined forces with L.A. Reid and Epic Records. Read more about the partnership below.
Chet Faker not only delivered a soulful rendition of ‘Talk Is Cheap’ at this year’s ARIA Awards, but also nabbed 2 out of his 6 nominations. Timberland’s Mosley Music Group leaves Universal/Interscope to join Sony and L.A. Reid in a joint venture with Epic Records. As of now, Epic will only reveal a slate of releases scheduled for first-quarter 2015, including a project from R&B/pop artist V. Bozeman.

Chet Faker makes an appearance on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live to perform his single ‘Gold’ off his debut album, Built on Glass. Chet Faker was recently nominated for 9 ARIA awards, including Best Album, Best Male Artist, and Producer of the Year.

Complex premieres the official music video for Rainy Milo‘s Bankrobber ft. Kossisko. Shot in an old bank, the video delivers a vintage feel, complete with vault and safe deposit boxes to match. The song is a cover of The Clash’s 1980 single of the same name. It will be featured on Milo’s debut album, This Thing Of Ours, which drops in Spring 2015.
