Today, Chet Faker released a new track entitled Bend. The track was originally supposed to be featured on Built On Glass, but got the bumped off the album for To Me. In an interview with ABC, Faker explains the reason for releasing the track.

Ever since it got cut from the album it’s just been sitting on my iTunes, sitting there looking at me. Usually when I cut a song after a few months I’m like ‘yeah cool, that song’s dead’ but it’s been annoying me… [so] it was either never going to be put out, or now, with this tour.

Faker will be heading a national tour in Australia, bringing an all-new live show, performing rarely heard live songs with an expanded band and a few guests, at iconic East Coast (AU) venues this October and November. Check out Bend below. Click here for the full ABC interview
