Rainy Milo is a British recording artist from south-east London. Her music career began at 14 singing with local musicians and arts collectives, and toplining beats she found online. She recorded her debut single “Bout You” over a BLCK RSSN track, and shared it to Tumblr. The song caught the attention of Gilles Peterson, amongst other industry players, and mae it to his Brownswood Bubblers compilation series. 

In 2012, she independently released her first mixtape, Limey, which included collaborations with producers like Cole MGN (Ariel Pink), Oddisee, and Chet Faker, as well as a reinterpretation of Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel's “Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me),”. Her US debut album, This Thing of Ours, came out in April 2015 via Limey/Big Picnic.

Four tracks from the album were chosen by Starbucks' In-Store Play Program, reaching over 8,700 locations across the US, Canada, and the UK. Milo’s music has also been featured in the high-profile Jordan Dunn x MISSGUIDED campaign LONDUNN and the film Vampire Academy. She has performed at major festivals such as The Great Escape, Field Day, Forbidden Fruit, Hultsfred, Blissfield, and Lovebox, as well as the prestigious Silencio Club in Paris.
